Nothing I do/get is quite newsworthy on Deviantart these days. But there are the occasional gems. Take the message I got on the 26th:

Now I think the first thing that needs to be said here is this quote "arguing on the internet is like being in the special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded"

Ooh that was a good start. Now the rest of the message:

"Stupid Indian piece of shit" seems to convey the message that the (ironically named) "thebrighthorizon" dosen't like Indians. White supremacist perhaps?

He refers to "merfed" Merfed being the online name, he is in fact referring to someone he met and mostly knows/talks to online. "Normal" people would refer to the person by first name, or perhaps nickname. Thisemphasizes the great bond they have with each other.

The Line "I'm going to make sure both you and your pathetic, needy, attention-seeking brat of a sister" Alludes that the "brighthorizon" dosn't actually know who I am. The most he seems to know about me is that I have a sister. The worst I get called is "both"

It rather seems like a compliment when compared to what he says about my sister.

He ends with [make sure you] both regret it for the rest of your lives. What could that mean? Now I assume firstly he dosn't plan to kill us, as he mentions the rest of our lives. Perhaps he is one of those people that assumes he can directly manipulate people when in actual fact he can't?

Perhaps he plans to damage us in some way? One would assume that merely "bashing" us, as it were, would not have the lifetime affect intended. Perhaps he plans to incapacitate us? For that would surely have the lifetime effect.

But enough. TheBrightHorizon plainly hides behind his online identity and avatar making idle threats. Should we discredit this as a valid threat?
